Motorola already launched three variants of the budget Moto E5 series i.e the Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play. However, the company has today launched the new Moto E5 Play Go Edition, which is an even more affordable in the existing device in this lineup.
This is completely a revised device as compared the original Moto E5 Play that was launched by the company earlier this year as it differs in some of the key internal hardware specifications. It has a slightly larger screen, a smaller battery, and a low-resolution display. Let go deeper and look into the specs of the new Moto E5 Play Go Edition:
The newly launched Moto E5 Play features a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 480×854 pixels resolution, as compared to the 5.2-inch 720p display on the original Moto E5 Play.
Price and Availability
The Moto E5 Play Go Edition has been priced at 109 euros (Rs 8,699) and is expected to go on sale in 3 color variants – Black, Dark Lake, and Flash Gray. This device will first land in Europe and Latin America by the end of this month, with no exact date for an India launch available just yet.
This device may emerge as a strong competitor to the budget smartphone king i.e Xiaomi. Xiaomi has been dominating the Indian smartphone market from past few years. At least, the under Rs. 10,000 – 15,000 price bracket market is being completely dominated by the company. Considering the price Motorola has quoted for the device it offers pretty impressive features which will help the company to capture some percentage of the market.
