Oppo recently launched its flagship for the year – Oppo Find X last month. The device was launched in China and immediately following that the second country to have its official launch is India. The launch date for the smartphone is July 12. From past few months, Oppo has been sending out the invites for a press conference to be held in New Delhi. Now the Oppo Find X launch date in India has been confirmed by the company, thanks to the official teaser posted on the company’s website.
Oppo’s flagship smartphones come with some expected hardware specs which most of the 2018 android flagship’s smartphones have. It features a Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB of RAM. A storage capacity variant of up to 512GB which is probably the highest in any smartphone.
The one feature which sets the device apart is the motorized slider camera that slides in and out to make a user use its camera’s. Yes, the front and the back camera’s are inbuilt in the slider part. All because of this hardware the company is able to give a true-bezel less all-screen display without featuring a notch.
Software & Camera’s
Talking about the software & camera’s, the Find X runs on the company’s customized ColorOS 5.01 based on Android 8.1. It sports a 3 camera’s placed on the hidden motorized body. A dual camera setup on the back feature a 16-Megapixel + 20-Megapixel sensor and they are AI-enabled. On the front, is a 25-megapixel 3D camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0 for selfies, video calling.
The pricing of the device has been rumored to be approx. 50,000 INR. It remains to see whether the company can convince the Indian market which moreover a price-sensitive market.
