Samsung finally rolled out the invites for its Unpacked event in 2018. The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is on August 9. The event will happen in Brooklyn, New York at 11 am EST. Yes, they are fortunately matching the numbers!
It almost about a month to go and the next big flagship smartphone by Samsung will be here. The smartphone is launching earlier than its expected time, which used to arrive in late August.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Release Date In India
After the official launch on August 9, the Indian user will get their hands on the Galaxy Note 9 in approx. 2-3 weeks. Indian market makes the most of the Samsung’s overall mobile phones sales and it is definitely an important market for them. So the Galaxy Note 9 release date in India will be in late August.
Why is it launching earlier?
Samsung wants Note 9 to grab the attention of the market and make the benchmarks high before the official launch of the iPhone X2 and iPhone 9 (probably to be called so). The official launch is on August 9, but by the time it hits the stores for actual purchase Apple enters the game by making some leaks for its new iPhone’s.
This is one of the reasons why Samsung is giving us a sneak peek look of the Galaxy Note 9 with the invite cards and to make some interest in the customer’s mind of what the actual phone would look like.
A new phone, small design change
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 may get some major updates over the Galaxy Note 8 but as far as the design is concerned we are not expecting too many changes from its predecessor.
Early leaks mentioned in some renders based on a factory CAD(computer-aided design) in which one can clearly make out that the phone looks much identical to the company’s last year released Samsung Galaxy Note 8. A complete rectangular shape design with a curved glass on top of it. Coming onto the back of the device it has a glass back for the support of wireless charging but the camera & fingerprint setup has been redesigned, now the fingerprint scanner sits below the camera setup.
Galaxy Note 9 in-screen fingerprint scanner
One of the biggest rumor coming for the smartphone is that it may feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. If the rumors are true then it will be the first Samsung smartphone to feature this technology.
We have seen multiple smartphones to have a in-screen fingerprint technology like the Vivo Nex which have been tried & tested to the extreme level and are highly successful to perform.
